In the context of numerous challenges with centralized power sources, renewable energy sources have emerged as an unavoidable trend in the process of ensuring energy protection for socioeconomic growth. With the aim of expanding the use of solar energy, Vietnam Electricity (EVN), the government, and foreign businesses investing in Vietnam have successfully researched and built solutions that contribute to the development of a transparent and sustainable solar power market.

Recognizing the many advantages of solar energy, EVN has successfully studied and created a robust service delivery system for investors who are households or businesses looking to generate electricity. EVNSOLAR is an EVN project that manages the quality of solar energy for individuals and businesses. This is Vietnam's first rooftop solar PV platform focused on digital technology to create favorable conditions for buyers and sellers, as well as connecting and interacting directly with participating parties (contractors, material suppliers, equipment, investors, banks, and so on). Customers may use this website to find information about photovoltaic panels, converters, technology, origin, quality, price, installation providers, banking services, insurance, and so on.

EVN's EVNSOLAR platform is customer-centric, with the aim of providing consumers with a differentiated experience. Its goal is to provide a comprehensive, simple solution for households to build a high-quality, low-cost solar power project. In particular, the application can quickly link customers with reputable installers, enabling them to choose the best quote. Moreover, EVN has stated its commitment to always help, accompany, and establish the best possible conditions for the growth of renewable energy in general, and solar power in particular. Therefore, it will lead to the development of an open and sustainable solar power sector, in order to protect the environment and benefit society.

On the other hand, Macquarie Group, Blueleaf Energy Company, and Ecoteck Company have recommended policies to attract investment in the energy storage sector in order to meet the potential load demand. The energy storage system (ESS) recommended by Mark Lesile, CEO of Macquarie Financial Company's Energy Technology and Solutions Group. The system is a low-cost, zero-emission solution for supplying energy during peak hours, replacing high-cost peak-covered power sources and emissions. This is a solution to help incorporate solar power into the grid by restricting the power provided to the grid to support the storage system's charging and discharging processes. This alternative is less expensive and produces fewer emissions than other predictable sources such as coal and gas. Simultaneously, this approach has the potential to increase the number of predictable sources supplied domestically, regardless of fuel price or exchange rate risk.

Last but not least, the government has implemented incentive structures and policies in order to completely harness the advantages and potentials of renewable energy resources in Vietnam in order to serve long-term socio-economic growth. To achieve this objective, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is also preparing action plans to be sent to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval as a basis for future implementation. Simultaneously, as the sector's governing body, the Ministry will receive all feedback and suggestions from individuals and businesses seeking to engage in the long-term growth of renewable energy resources in Vietnam. In addition, the Ministry will continue to study, complement, and complete processes and policies, and will report to the government for consideration and decision.
