Coal resources in the open-pit mines will gradually dry up, new construction mines will be underground mines, many of which will be opened at the bottom of the open-pit mine.

According to Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Director of Mes lab Company, in order to meet the demand for increasing production in the following years, the coal industry must expand and focus on "intensive farming" to rapidly increase the mining output of existing mines. Yes, and at the same time, new mines must be built. The objective of this workshop is to meet the needs of enterprises producing mining machinery and equipment as well as directly exploiting the mining industry.

Coal resources in the open-pit mines will gradually dry up, new mines will be built into the underground mines, many of these will be opened at the bottom of the ended open pit or open from the open pit or below the active open-pit mine. Therefore, it is necessary to study technical and technological solutions in order to take advantage of positive influences and limit to eliminate negative influences.

Currently, damping technologies include hydraulic dampers; pneumatic dampers (properties similar to hydraulic dampers but using compressed air); damping by springs or tweezers (based on elastic deformation without plastic deformation, high fatigue strength); rubber dampers (based on the compression properties of the rubber) ... help eliminate fast vibration, anti-vibration spread.

The application of automation and communication technology in Vietnam's mining industry

1. Mine automation

In recent years, the coal industry has met many new technologies, a number of technological stages have also been automated and achieved very positive achievements, coal output is constantly increasing, labor safety is Significant improvement. Automatic gas and wind monitoring systems, self-propelled anti-aircraft systems, road headers ... have been widely deployed. However, the application of automation is still very limited, only on a local scale, but there is no automation system capable of covering the entire mine as well as high-level management capabilities. Control systems are still mainly manual on/off control systems, remote monitoring systems are also mainly state monitoring by on/off signals, there are not many measuring devices measurement, and no digital communication network.

In the coming years, coal mines need to build specialized control and monitoring systems, conveyor control systems, power supply control and monitoring systems, automatic gas and wind monitoring, control - monitoring of mining sites ... These systems need to be integrated into a common high-speed network for the entire mine. This network will be gradually improved and expanded as automation systems in the local production areas and intermediaries are increasingly developed.

2. Mine communication

Due to the characteristics of coal mines with many separated production areas and many different stages, it is difficult to cover the mine with a single communication system or with a single communication mode. It is necessary to use both a communication network by a landline phone system and a wireless phone system if classified according to the working mode of the communication system. If classified according to the scope of use, it is divided into the communication system used for production dispatching throughout the mine and the communication system serving the local production area.

In Vietnam, explosion-proof telephone systems have been used very early to serve the operation of mining production. In the 1980s, an analog communication system was introduced, and in the 90s a digital communication system was developed capable of managing hundreds of telephones in the mines, Meet the needs of production management communication for many mines.

The mining industry in the world has made great strides in the application of science and technology, especially in the fields of automation, communication, and information moderation. Technical progress not only improves efficiency and labor productivity but minimizes accidents and incidents in pit. Specifically, many countries such as Australia, China, Poland, Japan, UK ... have applied advanced automation technology to the mining industry, so there has been no serious gas explosion recently. On the basis of the existing infrastructure structure, plus recent achievements in the application of informatics, microprocessors, and underground mine production will be more modern and civilized in the coming years.
